The majority of Montgomery staff are now trained in Orton-Gillingham, an evidence-based instructional approach to improve students’ reading, spelling, and writing skills.

STEM CERTIFICATION
In March 2017, MES was designated a STEM (Science— Technology—Engineering—Math)
certified school by AdvancEd.
Only 74 schools across the country have received this distinction.
